My client, a leading provider of educational technology solutions, is seeking an enthusiastic and driven Software Sales Consultant to join their dynamic sales team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for education technology and a proven track record in sales.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to effectively sell their existing products (Learning Systems) to new clients.

  • Manage the entire sales cycle from prospecting to closing deals and follow-ups.
  • Work with the team to define a product/sales pipeline and explore opportunities.

  • Conduct market research to identify selling possibilities and evaluate customer needs.

  • Actively seek out new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking, and social media.

  • Set up meetings with potential clients and listen to their wishes and concerns.

  • Prepare and deliver appropriate presentations on products and services.

  • Participate in exhibitions or conferences on behalf of the company.

  • Collaborate with team members to achieve better results.

  • Gather feedback from customers or prospects and share it with internal teams.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Sales or Business Development.

  • Proven experience as a sales consultant, preferably in Educational Technology or software sales.

  • Strong understanding of sales performance metrics.

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills; the ability to build rapport quickly.

  • Familiarity with CRM software and MS Office.

  • An ability to deliver engaging presentations.

Skills:

  • Strategic thinking with a strong focus on results.

  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.

  • Strong organisational and time management abilities.

  • Capacity to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Fluent in English - Speak, understand, and write.

  • Some understanding of Afrikaans, Zulu, or Xhosa will be advantageous.

Other:

  • The role requires travel.
  • The nature of the job may require working irregular hours.

Benefits:

  • Negotiable: Basic plus Commission.

THIS IS A 12 MONTH FIXED TERM CONTRACT POSITION
