My client, a leading provider of educational technology solutions, is seeking an enthusiastic and driven Software Sales Consultant to join their dynamic sales team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for education technology and a proven track record in sales.
Responsibilities:
Develop and execute sales strategies to effectively sell their existing products (Learning Systems) to new clients.
- Manage the entire sales cycle from prospecting to closing deals and follow-ups.
Work with the team to define a product/sales pipeline and explore opportunities.
Conduct market research to identify selling possibilities and evaluate customer needs.
Actively seek out new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking, and social media.
Set up meetings with potential clients and listen to their wishes and concerns.
Prepare and deliver appropriate presentations on products and services.
Participate in exhibitions or conferences on behalf of the company.
Collaborate with team members to achieve better results.
Gather feedback from customers or prospects and share it with internal teams.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Sales or Business Development.
Proven experience as a sales consultant, preferably in Educational Technology or software sales.
Strong understanding of sales performance metrics.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills; the ability to build rapport quickly.
Familiarity with CRM software and MS Office.
An ability to deliver engaging presentations.
Skills:
Strategic thinking with a strong focus on results.
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
Strong organisational and time management abilities.
Capacity to work independently and as part of a team.
Fluent in English - Speak, understand, and write.
Some understanding of Afrikaans, Zulu, or Xhosa will be advantageous.
Other:
- The role requires travel.
- The nature of the job may require working irregular hours.

THIS IS A 12 MONTH FIXED TERM CONTRACT POSITION
