Job Description
Centrax Systems has a requirement for a resource to fulfil the role of I.T Business Analyst for the duration of 6 months.   The role requires investigating, analysing and documenting BIL’s operational processes and development of optimised business processes to support BIL’s I.T Projects.  The business analyst will be involved in the documentation and delivery of business solutions from conceptualization to implementation.

Responsibilities and Duties:

 

·         Business Needs Analysis: Identify business needs and define project goals, objectives, and deliverables.

·         Requirements Gathering: Collect and document business requirements through stakeholder interviews, surveys, and workshops.

·         Document and maintain Business Requirements, Procedures including SOPs, and Process Models.

·         Solution Evaluation: Evaluate and recommend solutions to meet business needs, including cost-benefit analysis and risk assessment.

·         Stakeholder Management: Communicate with stakeholders, including project sponsors, team members, and end-users, to ensure their needs are met.

·         Testing and Quality Assurance: Develop test cases, participate in testing, and ensure solution quality meets business requirements.

·         Implementation and Deployment: Plan and execute solution implementation, including training and support.

·         Benefits Realization*: Ensure solutions deliver expected business benefits and measure ROI.

 

Management of User testing

·         Document and maintain test scripts

·         Manage and final sign off on all user testing:

•      User Acceptance testing

•      Post implementation testing



Requirements

Desired Experience & Qualification

·         B Com or a Diploma in Business Analysis, BCom Informatics or Information Systems

·         Appropriate BA certification (e.g.BABOK, CBAP)

·         5 years’ experience as a Business Analyst

·         Experience in the Logistics/Supply Chain Industry is advantageous
