Hire Resolve is currently seeking a qualified and experienced CNC Workshop Manager for our client based in Johannesburg, Gauteng. As a CNC Workshop Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the operations of the CNC workshop, managing a team of CNC operators and technicians, and ensuring efficient and effective workflow. This role requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication and problem-solving abilities, and a deep understanding of CNC workshop management processes and procedures.

We are looking for a highly motivated and results-oriented individual who can lead the CNC workshop, manage production schedules, and ensure the successful execution of CNC machining projects. Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage a team of CNC operators and technicians in the CNC workshop
  • Manage production schedules and allocate resources effectively
  • Ensure quality control and adherence to specifications in CNC machining projects
  • Collaborate with design and engineering teams to optimize CNC programs
  • Perform maintenance and troubleshooting of CNC machines
  • Implement and maintain health and safety procedures in the CNC workshop
  • Ensure compliance with ISO quality requirements
  • Manage and control inventory of tooling and materials
  • Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity

Requirements

  • Relevant qualification in CNC machining or related field
  • At least 5 years proven experience as a Workshop Manager or similar role in a CNC machining environment
  • Demonstrated leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong problem-solving abilities
  • Sound knowledge of CNC machining processes and procedures
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
  • Proficient in operating and programming CNC machines
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations
  • Experience with ISO quality requirements
