Our client, a prominent outsourcing organization in the BPO sector, is committed to delivering exceptional service and innovative solutions to clients worldwide. We are seeking a skilled and motivated Tier 2 IT Engineer to join our dynamic team.

Position Overview
As a Tier 2 IT Engineer with our client, you will play a vital role in maintaining and enhancing our IT infrastructure. Your responsibilities will include diagnosing and resolving technical issues, assisting end-users, and collaborating with fellow IT professionals to ensure seamless operations.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Provide advanced technical support to address escalated IT issues from Tier 1 support.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software problems.
  • Manage and upkeep IT systems, including servers, networks, and applications.
  • Perform system upgrades, patches, and backups.
  • Assist in implementing and deploying new technologies and solutions.
  • Monitor system performance and security, taking proactive measures for stability and safety.
  • Document and update IT procedures and knowledge base articles.
  • Collaborate with IT team members and departments to deliver unified support and service.
  • Train and mentor Tier 1 support staff.

Role Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in an IT support role.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems.
  • Familiarity with cloud services.
  • Experience with network protocols, hardware, and configurations.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting and problem-solving.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Relevant certifications such as A+, CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator.
