Welcome Tomorrow was founded in 2021 by Maxime Calot, starting from a simple observation: advanced growth marketing techniques are not localised for emerging markets. Online marketing is increasingly complex and competitive, while there too much fragmentation in the expertises required to build sustainable compounding growth. Today, very few partners have a 360 vision of the key components that contribute a business success.

  • Performance Marketing: driving actual business results for our customers (such as online sales or leads) thanks to data-driven strategies articulated around data, media and creatives.
  • Mobile Growth: acquiring new users and retaining them on mobile apps. This one is a big bet for us as the Mobile opportunity is huge in Africa (450M smartphone users), yet there’s almost no local expertise in this field.
  • Creative Studio: relevant creatives and messaging are paramount in any campaign performance. We design specific data-driven creatives for each marketing channel and adopt a systematic A/B testing approach.
  • Tracking & Analytics: we enable our customers to collect, visualise and activate their 1st party data across multiple platforms and channels to make better business decisions, faster.

Requirements

Role Description

Welcome Tomorrow is seeking for a talented SEO specialist to join our team as a SEO Manager. In this role, you will play a crucial part in managing client accounts and executing AI-enabled SEO strategies to enhance their organic search performance while ensuring the overall success of our clients's business KPIs.

As an SEO Manager, your responsibilities include:

  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, fostering strong client relationships.
  • Review technical SEO issues, recommend fixes, build & monitor implementation with developers
  • Conduct keyword research and build content strategy roadmaps to implement with copywriters
  • Optimise website content, landing pages and paid search copy
  • Drive off-page SEO optimisation projects (e.g. link-building)
  • Collect data and report on traffic, rankings and other SEO aspects
  • Work with our Paid Media teams to optimise campaigns and share insights
  • Research & implement new SEO techniques for our customers, including AI-powered SEO innovations
  • Contribute to the growth of Welcome Tomorrow by improving our web properties organic search performance
  • Participation in tech events and customer trainings to grow your skills and represent Welcome Tomorrow

️ Qualifications:
  • 4+ years of SEO experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing, or a related field (preferred)
  • Past Paid Media experience managing PPC campaigns across Google
  • In-depth experience with website analytics tools (Google Search Console, Google Analytics)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to write and effectively interact with clients
  • Experience with A/B and multivariate experiments
  • Strong understanding of latest search engine algorithms and ranking methods
  • Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in SEO and Paid Media
  • Deep knowledge of keyword research and data mining tools
  • Ability to conduct competitive analyses of clients and their industries
  • Comfort with analysing large volumes of data on a daily basis
  • Familiarity with WordPress or other content management systems

  • Experience working with Notion, ideally with Notion Essentials Certification
  • Experience working in a startup, agency or dynamic environment
  • Experience with AI-powered SEO (tools ecosystem, AI models, research)
  • Familiarity with the concept of growth loops and a demonstrated application of this concept in your work
