  • Typography: Select appropriate fonts and text layouts to enhance the overall design and readability of materials.
  • Image Editing: Edit and manipulate images to improve their quality and relevance to the project. An ability to illustrate is a bonus, but not a necessity
  • Deadline Management: Manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines while maintaining high-quality design standards.
  • Adaptability: Stay updated on design trends, technologies, and industry best practices to ensure the agency's work remains fresh and competitive.
  • Client Presentations: Present design concepts and ideas to clients and stakeholders, incorporating feedback and making revisions as needed.
  • File Management: Organise and maintain digital files and assets, ensuring easy retrieval and version control.

Qualifications

Graphic Design Skills: Proficiency in graphic design software and a strong portfolio showcasing a variety of design work.

Creativity: A keen eye for detail, colour, layout, and typography, coupled with the ability to think creatively and innovatively.

Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills for collaborating with clients and team members.

Time Management: Effective time management skills to handle multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.

Client-Centric Approach: The ability to understand and interpret client needs and preferences, along with strong client-facing skills.

Adaptability: Willingness to adapt to changing project requirements and take on new challenges.

Bachelor's Degree: Many graphic designers in advertising agencies hold a bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in graphic design or a related field.

Experience: Prior experience in a similar role, preferably within an advertising agency, is often preferred.

Knowledge of Marketing: A basic understanding of marketing principles and strategies can be advantageous.
