Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Debtors and Creditors Administrator to manage our clients’ accounts receivable and payable processes while providing general administrative support. The ideal candidate will ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices, manage debtor accounts, and assist in maintaining efficient office operations.
Key Responsibilities:
1.Debtors Management:
oProcess and issue customer invoices accurately and promptly.
oMonitor outstanding accounts and follow up on overdue payments.
oReconcile customer accounts and resolve discrepancies.
oMaintain records of all communications with clients regarding payment status.
2.Creditors Management:
oProcess supplier invoices and ensure timely payments.
oVerify invoice accuracy and resolve discrepancies with suppliers.
oAssist in the preparation of payment schedules and maintain accurate records of transactions.
oReconcile supplier statements and ensure compliance with company policies.
3.General Administration:
oSupport the finance team with data entry, filing, and record keeping.
oAssist in preparing financial reports and documentation for audits.
oManage office supplies inventory and place orders as needed.
oProvide administrative support to other departments as required.
Qualifications:
•Proven experience in debtors and creditors management
•Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial processes.
•Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).
•Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
•Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
•Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
•Relevant qualification in finance, accounting, or administration.
•Previous experience in a fast-paced office environment.
