Job Description

The Sales Representative (SR) is responsible for selling products and services in a designated area and is accountable for the profitable achievement of sales targets as agreed with company. The SR is responsible for their own sales conversion productivity, and directs their effort in order to have the greatest overall impact on results.

It is vital for the SR to possess good knowledge of standard sales methods & techniques relevant to client’s product. This person will report to the Sales Manager.

As the position is for sales driven individuals, the SR is responsible for achieving sales targets for themselves in order to increase their earning potential through commissions

Additional activities will include involvement in pre-awareness campaigns to new customers; ensuring that customers are made aware of features, benefits, competitive advantages and applications of the relevant products.

ROLE SUMMARY:

Responsibilities of this position are to achieve sales targets. The Field Sales Representative will achieve this through field activities such as door to door, field activations, social media and acquiring referrals. It will be vital for the Field Sales Representative to posess good knowledge of standard sales methods & techniques relevant to client’s product line.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

Minimum Matric Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, multi-task, and have good communication skills, both verbally and in writing Minimum of 1 year sales experience in field sales preferably telecommunication sales Minimum of 1 year’s target driven sales experience Must have own Smartphone that is in good working condition Evidence of experience working independently, with little or no supervision

Skills in problem solving Analytical thinking/skills required Ability to act independently on routine assignments or projects Ability to plan, organize and multi-task to complete assignments in an efficient manner Ability to communicate professionally, both oral and written Ability to pay attention to details and perform at a high-level accuracy Ability to work independently and with a team
