Quotations must be in a sealed envelope clearly marked with the RFP reference number plus the USB soft copy of BID documents and must be submitted to the above-mentioned address.

Submission of Quotations and Proposal:  should be submitted to the address above, no later than the date and time of the deadline.

No quotation/bid will be accepted from any bidder related to directors or employees of the THEMBALETHU DEVELOPMENT and any person related to them.

Key areas of focus

  • Network and data security, including directory, group policy, firewalls, virus protection, and email security.
  • Data backups to ensure all company-owned work is saved periodically.
  • Installation and update network system improvements.
  • Install and configure wireless networking.
  • Monitor servers, LAN/WAN, and Wi-Fi to ensure full coverage.
  • Evaluate connectivity issues, equipment, and software and hardware.
  • IT issues; hardware maintenance, software, networking
  • Helpdesk and technical support either by phone, remote access, or site visits
  • Oversee troubleshooting for system errors.
  • Set up equipment for new users and employees.
  • System optimization for all technology resources.
  • Supervise and empower Internal I.T official.
  • Configure and set up telephones and other hardware machines
  • T Policy update and Standard Operating Procedure manual update.
  • External and Internal I.T audit
  • Migration from physical server to cloud services.
  • T support other software packages such as SAGE Evolution & SAGE VIP
  • Website update and configuration
  • T workshops and seminars for internal staff

 

 

 

TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR BIDDING:

 

  1. THEMBALETHU DEVELOPMENT reserves the right to not make an award; to award multiple bidders and may procure the services, either in whole or in part, from anyone of the appointed bidders.
  2. The bidder must ensure the correctness and validity of the quote. All price(s) and

quantities quoted are at the bidder’s risk.

  1. THEMBALETHU DEVELOPMENT reserves the right to conduct supplier due diligence prior to final award or at any time during the contract period.
  2. THEMBALETHU DEVELOPMENT reserves the right to award according to the most economical service option submitted. And will under no obligation accept the lowest or any quote.
  3. THEMBALETHU DEVELOPMENT reserves the right to stop the contract partly or, temporarily or indefinitely, in which event neither claim nor liability whatsoever shall lie against the contractor due to non-compliance, non-performance, by the service provider.
  4. THEMBALETHU DEVELOPMENT reserves the right to conduct price negotiations, where deemed necessary.

 

 

Preference will be given to local service providers through the address that is on the company registration documents (CK), who will be able to visit office regular and as and when.
