Strategic Planning, Monitoring, and Evaluation Manager

Our client is seeking a highly qualified Strategic Planning, Monitoring, and Evaluation Manager to join their team. This senior position plays a critical role in developing and implementing governance processes, monitoring organizational performance, and ensuring the achievement of strategic objectives. - Strategic Planning:
- Develops and oversees strategic planning processes aligned with organizational goals.
- Establishes and executes governance processes for effective organizational performance monitoring, evaluation, and reporting.
- Leads the development, implementation, and evaluation of the Annual Performance Plan.
- Manages the monitoring and evaluation of the reporting cycle to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Coordinates and assesses performance information required for the Annual Report.
- Plays a role in financial management processes related to strategic planning and performance evaluation.
- Oversees and manages teams involved in strategic planning, monitoring, and evaluation activities.
RequirementsRequirements
A relevant Postgraduate Business Qualification (NQF Level 8) or equivalent tertiary qualification in monitoring and evaluation
Must demonstrate expertise in organizational governance and business management processes and planning.
Minimum of 5 years' management experience in strategic planning, monitoring and evaluation within a public entity or government institution.
Familiarity with business and management principles, and understanding of science and technology aspects related to the company.
Skills
Capable of collecting, synthesising and reporting information
Strong market and trend analysis skills
Effective presentation and stakeholder management abilities
