Responsibilities:

  • Manage the company's procurement activities, ensuring the timely delivery of goods and services
  • Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements
  • Maintain accurate procurement records
  • Assist with inventory management
  • Collaborate with various departments to ensure procurement needs are met
  • Assist in buying
  • Vendor onboarding
  • Requisition follow-ups
  • Checking the descriptions from the site
  • General paperwork

Requirements

  • Previous experience in procurement within the mining industry is essential
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills
  • Knowledge of mining equipment and materials
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite
