Hire Resolve's client is a reputable mining company operating in Gauteng, and they are currently looking for a dedicated Procurement Clerk to join their team.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the company's procurement activities, ensuring the timely delivery of goods and services
- Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements
- Maintain accurate procurement records
- Assist with inventory management
- Collaborate with various departments to ensure procurement needs are met
- Assist in buying
- Vendor onboarding
- Requisition follow-ups
- Checking the descriptions from the site
- General paperwork
Requirements
- Previous experience in procurement within the mining industry is essential
- Strong negotiation and communication skills
- Knowledge of mining equipment and materials
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
- Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite
