Responsibilities
  • Maintain and grow the client base
  • Achieve budget per client
  • Build relationships with multiple client levels (Strategic, Tactical & Operational)
  • Manage client expectations and overcome objections
  • Create and update account plans and strategies
  • Manage existing client renewals
  • Coordinate and complete RFPs/Tenders
  • Innovate with client accounts and understand their business needs
  • Attend sales training and share best practices
  • Present to clients and work closely with Operations & Customer Service
  • Quantify value to clients and increase wallet share
  • Visit clients regularly and negotiate contracts
  • Assist Debtors in collecting aged monies
  • Monitor service levels and implement action plans
  • Implement management reporting tools and assess client profitability
  • Attend sales meetings and submit reports on time

Requirements

  • Grade 12 / Matric certificate
  • Minimum 3 years sales experience in Transport/Logistics Services
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Strong communication and relationship management skills
  • Ability to work independently with attention to detail
  • Analytical and strategic thinking skills
  • Strong ability to close deals and solve problems
  • Positive, results-oriented attitude with a strong work ethic
  • Driver’s License
