This role is all about maintaining our high standard of cleanliness throughout all of our properties. As a Housekeeping Supervisor at Propr, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our Housekeeping team. Your main focus would be improving team communication and efficiency, managing all training needs and inspiring the team daily Details: Location: Illovo, Sandton Hours: 8:30 am to 5:30 pm Working days: Monday to Sunday - rotation with other Supervisors so off days aren't always on the weekends Benefits: No standard benefits What you will be doing: Ensure our properties are cleaned to 5* standards Help to get our new properties deep cleaned so that they are guest-ready Work as part of our expanding housekeeping team Able to spot and report damages so that our team can rectify them Work with little supervision and maintain a high level of performance Interacting with our guests and doing so with a high level of professionalism Assign keys and company assets Complete spot checks of cleans Complete owner booking checks before owners arrive Give feedback daily Communicate well with Operations Managers and Property Managers Complete cleans when needed Train new employees Help with checkins as and when required Help with admin duties as and when needed Here’s our description of the ideal person for this job: Minimum 3-5 years hotel housekeeping supervisor experience Based in or around the Cape Town area Great attention to detail You get things done Comfortable with technology Ability to speak, read and write English High levels of personal hygiene Understand linen requirements Great time management skills Clean criminal record Reference letters from hotels you have worked at Benefits At Propr, we’re all about building an amazing place to work - together.
