SCOPE OF WORK SHERQ Lead own team to meet company SHERQ strategy & goals. Promote behavioural safety at all levels. Ensure no unsafe assets or tools used in operations. Conduct toolboxes talk and Safety Standdown Ensure that all safety deviation (KUE) loop closure is completed. Ensures that all PTRA are conducted on site prior to work start. Ensure that PTO observations are conducted on all critical tasks. Be responsible for the receiving of permits therefore attended and declared competent in the Sasol permit to work course for recipients and being declared competent in writing by the Company Client Relationship Ensure adherence to work schedules, completing work on time. All staff to have a clear understanding of performance expectations and contracts serviced according to scope and specifications. Attend daily and weekly client meetings, ensuring accurate feedback on work status. Support and service clients by satisfactorily resolving complaints at the lowest level Operations Ensure effective resource planning – to execute scoped work per work packs. Ensure accurate scoping of work to optimise resources – human and assets. Ensure quality work and related control systems in place. Ensure adequate Planning is done for shutdown execution. Ensure that team members are on site on time daily Ensure that QCP is conducted for all chemical cleaning tasks Ensure that Samples are collected and submitted to the Lab Human Capital Ensure the implementation of the Performance Management System to build a high-performance culture within the organization in conjunction with the HR Executive. Train and develop staff (guidance, mentoring, formal training) Effective management of Employee Relations General people management administration – e.g. leave, acting appointments and overall active head count. Ensure harmonious relations in the function, with other internal and external stakeholders. Recognise and reward top performers consistent with the remuneration philosophy of the organisation. Play an active role in building the company culture and live by the values and set the example. Ensure disciplinary processes are followed on company policy transgressions   Transformation Accelerate the development of key EE personnel for promotion and succession planning Contribute towards the achievement of the BBBEE targets (Scorecard)   Financial Management Optimise monthly revenue by claiming accurate and applicable work completion. Manage costs and operating expenses to deliver budget profit margins. Ensure that all cards invoiced are signed off by budget Owners Ensuring that no work is executed without a Purchase Order Monitor Timesheet compliance and deviation to scoped work hours   Asset Management Asset Management – well maintained. Ensure all trade related tools are in place and available for work execution Ensure that all tools are returned to the stores after work completion   Business Development Actively pursue work outside of current maintenance contract Skills Perform work under pressure and meet deadlines. Risk Management Method Statement preparation & Review, Site inspections and investigations, Company preparation for Audits, Compliance and maintenance of relevant ISO/OHSAS standards, Risk Assessment experience, OHS Act & Regulations implementation, an in-depth understanding of and the ability to interpret legislation, Company standards and program requirements to pass on knowledge and requirements to others Knowledge in information provision to tender and submission process.
