Key Responsibilities Machine Operation: Load raw materials and run CNC programs to produce precision parts. Quality Control: Perform visual inspections and basic measurements to ensure parts meet specifications. Blueprint Interpretation: Read and understand technical drawings to guide machining. Technical Support: Assist with machine setup, calibration, and minor maintenance. Workplace Safety: Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized workspace. Teamwork: Collaborate with supervisors and fellow operators to meet production goals. Qualifications & Skills Education: Matric (Grade 12) or equivalent. Technical Skills: Basic understanding of machining and CNC operations. Soft Skills: Detail-oriented, mechanically inclined, and a good communicator. Experience: CNC Experienced, or has undergone an apprenticeship, trade course, or on-the-job training, is preferred. Computer Skills: Basic literacy to operate CNC interfaces. Career Path This role offers a solid foundation for growth into CNC Machinist, Setup Technician, or CNC Programmer roles with further training and experience.
