Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Enterprise Risk Consultant to join our team, supporting a telco client in the review, maintenance, and enhancement of process policies and procedures (PPPs). The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring robust risk management, internal controls, and process optimisation across various business functions. This role requires a detail-oriented professional with a strong background in risk, audit, and process management, ideally within the telecommunications sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review, maintain, and update approximately 400 process policies and procedures (PPPs), ensuring alignment with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand and document process flows prior to client engagement.
  • Identify gaps, inefficiencies, and opportunities for automation within existing processes.
  • Conduct internal audits and risk assessments to ensure compliance and effective control environments.
  • Draft, revise, and implement policies, processes, and procedures across functions such as HR, sales, and customer service.
  • Participate in client meetings alongside management, taking comprehensive notes and accurately translating client feedback into actionable updates.
  • Facilitate process walkthroughs with confidence and competence, ensuring clear communication and stakeholder buy-in.
  • Prepare and present clear, concise reports and recommendations to both internal and client stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in risk management, internal audit, or process/policy management.
  • A bachelor's degree in Risk Management, Internal Audit, Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field is required.
  • Demonstrable experience in drafting and maintaining policies, processes, and procedures.
  • Internal audit experience is essential.
  • Experience in HR, sales, or customer service process management; telecommunications industry experience is a significant advantage.
  • Proven ability to identify process gaps and recommend automation or optimisation solutions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to facilitate meetings and process walkthroughs confidently.
  • Strong listening skills and attention to detail, with the ability to accurately capture and translate client requirements.
  • Highly organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Desirable

  • Previous experience working with or for telco providers.
  • Relevant professional certifications in risk management, internal audit, or process improvement (e.g., CIA, CRMA, Six Sigma).
