Are you a numbers-driven professional with a passion for the property industry? We're looking for a sharp, motivated Financial Accountant to join a dynamic team within a fast-growing real estate environment.
In this role, you'll play a key part in shaping the financial backbone of a diverse property portfolio,driving accuracy, insights, and strategic value every step of the way. Duties & Responsibilities Job & Company Description:

  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with relevant accounting standards
  • Manage the general ledger, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and alignment with financial policies
  • Perform balance sheet reconciliations and maintain supporting schedules
  • Monitor and manage cash flow, banking transactions, and cashbook reconciliations
  • Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
  • Process journals, including accruals, provisions, and adjustments
  • Assist with budgeting and forecasting, providing input and variance analysis
  • Conduct financial analysis to support decision-making and identify improvement opportunities
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax legislation, and internal controls
  • Prepare VAT, tax submissions, and statutory returns
  • Work closely with auditors during interim and annual audits
  • Support month-end and year-end closing processes
  • Develop and implement financial policies, controls, and procedures
  • Collaborate with operational teams to provide insights and support business performance
Job Experience and Skills Required:
  • com degree in accounting
  • SAIPA/SAICA
  • 4 years relevant Property experience
