What the Role Is About

As the ERP Programme Finance Manager, you'll be the operational "engine room" of our ERP programme, a key driver of financial discipline, procurement oversight, and commercial guardrails. This is more than financial reporting: it's strategic and foundational.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the end-to-end finances of a multi-year, high-value ERP programme
  • Own budgeting, forecasting, accruals, and cost modelling (CapEx vs. OpEx)
  • Define and maintain financial policies and procurement controls
  • Collaborate with project leads to align spend with delivery timelines
  • Provide executive-ready reporting and analysis for decision-making
  • Lead vendor contract administration and procurement processes

What We're Looking For

  • A qualified finance pro (CA(SA), CIMA, AGA(SA) or equivalent preferred)
  • 5–8 years' experience in financial management, including ERP or large-scale IT projects
  • Deep understanding of IFRS, especially around SaaS/Cloud cost treatment
  • Skilled in Google Sheets or Excel, plus project tools like MS Project or Jira
  • Strong communicator with a knack for simplifying complex data
  • Hands-on, independent, and unfazed by ambiguity — a real self-starter
  • Values-driven, reliable, and ready to stick with the project through to 2030
