Web Developer
who can help take our platform to the next level.

Role

As our Web Developer, you will be responsible for improving, maintaining, and optimizing our e-commerce website. You should be passionate about clean code, high performance, and delivering a seamless user experience. You will collaborate with our marketing, product, and operations teams to continuously develop features that support growth.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain our WordPress/WooCommerce or Laravel-based website
  • Improve website speed, responsiveness, and performance
  • Implement secure payment gateways, checkout flows, and API integrations
  • Troubleshoot website bugs, plugin conflicts, and server issues
  • Optimize for SEO and mobile responsiveness
  • Work with backend databases and ensure data security
  • Monitor uptime, perform regular testing, and apply updates
  • Collaborate on UI/UX improvements for conversion growth
  • Manage website hosting, backups, and deployments

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Web Developer
  • Strong knowledge of
    PHP
    ,
    JavaScript
    ,
    MySQL
    ,
    HTML/CSS
  • Experience with WordPress + WooCommerce
    or
    Laravel (preferred)
  • Knowledge of cPanel
    ,
    Linux servers
    , and
    Git
  • Experience with API integrations
    (payment gateways like Yoco, PayFast, or Stripe)
  • Understanding of
    website security, caching, and optimization techniques
  • Familiarity with eCommerce workflows and UX
  • Problem solver with strong troubleshooting skills
