Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead, develop, and mentor a team of 10+ Accountants to deliver high-quality outputs
  • Review, sign off on and ensure the accuracy of financial statements and all client deliverables
  • Enhance accounting processes, internal controls, and automation/system integrations
  • Interpret and reconcile complex financial and blockchain-related data
  • Partner with stakeholders to support outsourced CFO functions and high-level reporting

Job Experience and Skills Required:
  • Chartered Accountant (CA(SA) / CA or equivalent) essential
  • 5+ years post-qualification experience
  • Proven success managing and mentoring accounting teams
  • Experience within digital assets, crypto-native, fintech, or blockchain-focused environments
  • Strong understanding of blockchain accounting, ERP systems and integration
  • Proficiency with digital asset accounting tools
  • Exceptional analytical, organisational and communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to enhance processes, drive efficiencies and implement improvements
  • Leadership experience in a technical accounting environment
