Sales Leadership and Customer Service

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and drive business growth.

  • Lead and motivate the telesales teams to meet and exceed performance goals.

  • Build strong customer relationships, resolve complaints efficiently, and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.

  • Ensure discounts and customer-specific pricing are correctly applied in the system.

Customer Database and Debtor Management

  • Build and maintain an up-to-date customer database with complete, accurate information.

  • Monitor debtor buying patterns weekly to prevent loss of business and encourage growth.

  • Develop and manage a smaller customer database for targeted sales strategies.

  • Ensure ordering procedures are followed and controlled.

Marketing, Promotions, and Supplier Relations

  • Distribute marketing materials and ensure promotional visibility in-store.

  • Analyse market trends, customer behaviour, and competitor activity to identify growth opportunities.

  • Ensure supplier displays/ ends are set up, priced correctly and neat.

  • Liase with suppliers

Skills and Competencies:

  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills

  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills

  • Proficiency in stock management and retail operations

  • Exceptional customer service and sales skills

  • Ability to perform under pressure and meet operational deadlines

  • Computer literacy, especially with retail management systems (e.g., Cobsolv)

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Proven experience in sales management, preferably in a Wholesale and retail environment catering to mid to lower-income markets.

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.

  • Sound knowledge of inventory management principles, sales techniques, and marketing strategies.

  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales data and make data-driven decisions.

Education and Experience:

  • Previous experience in a sales role within the Wholesale or retail industry.

  • Demonstrated success in achieving sales targets, driving business growth, and improving operational efficiency.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: R10 000,00 - R12 000,00 per month
