Key Responsibilities

Claims System Setup:

  • Collaborate on the design and implementation of our new claims system, helping to optimise processes and enhance efficiency.

Claims Data Management:

  • Take charge of gathering and maintaining up-to-date claims data from all insurers, including tracking recoveries and updating company records.

Reporting and Analytics:

  • Create and manage a variety of claims reports and analytics, providing valuable insights to your manager, insurers, and clients.

Technical Claims Support:

  • Provide crucial support on complex claims, attending meetings with brokers and insurers to resolve issues and drive positive outcomes.

Client and Policy Management:

  • Maintain and update client fleet lists, CRM system and Google Drive folders to ensure accurate and current information
  • Communicate with insurers regarding policy amendments and claims as directed by brokers.

Professional Development:

  • Participate in training sessions to obtain necessary accreditations and stay updated on industry best practices.

Ad-hoc Duties:

  • Support the department with any additional tasks as required, contributing to a cohesive and efficient team environment.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Matric Certificate
  • FSCA Compliant
  • RE and NQF4 will be highly advantageous (Depending on Date of First Appointment)
  • A minimum of 3 years experience with commercial claims
