to support a client of ours in Johannesburg.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, build, deploy, and test AI services using REST APIs and managed LLMs.
  • Host, manage, and fine-tune deployed LLMs on Kubernetes GPU-enabled clusters.
  • Design, build, and implement AI Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) solutions using vector databases.
  • Manage day-to-day cloud operations, ensuring reliability, performance, and cost optimization across cloud environments.
  • Support developers with platform-related topics, including cloud configurations, deployments, and operational best practices.
  • Design, build, and test new cloud configurations to improve performance and scalability.
  • Continuously optimize infrastructure and services for operational excellence, performance, and cost efficiency.
  • Collaborate with teams to maintain IaC, CI/CD workflows, and monitoring solutions.
  • Monitor AI services and infrastructure using Grafana, Loki, Prometheus, and other observability tools.
