Role Description

– Angular Developer

This is a full-time, remote position for an Angular Developer based in Johannesburg. You will be responsible for building high-quality, scalable web applications and front-end experiences that integrate with cloud, API, and AI-driven services. You'll collaborate with designers, backend developers, and solution teams to deliver modern, responsive UI components aligned with business and technical requirements.

What You'll Do

Front-End Development

  • Develop, enhance, and maintain Angular applications using modern best practices.
  • Build reusable components, services, and UI modules aligned with enterprise-grade architecture.
  • Implement responsive design, clean code, and strong UX principles.
  • Integrate Angular front-ends with REST APIs, GraphQL, and cloud services.

AI & Cloud-Integrated Features

  • Build front-end experiences that interact with Azure services such as Azure OpenAI, Cognitive Services, and custom APIs.
  • Support automation workflows by integrating UI components with Logic Apps, Power Automate, and cloud workflows.
  • Work with solution teams to translate AI-powered features into intuitive user interfaces.

Collaboration & Delivery

  • Work closely with back-end developers, UI/UX designers, Solution Architects, and QA teams.
  • Participate in sprint planning, code reviews, and deployments using Azure DevOps, ClickUp, or Jira.
  • Contribute to technical documentation, development standards, and best practices.
  • Assist in refining requirements, improving user flows, and identifying front-end enhancements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • Strong experience with Angular (v10+), TypeScript, HTML5, SCSS, and RxJS.
  • Experience building modular, component-based architectures.
  • Familiarity with API integration, state management (NgRx/Akita), and authentication tools.
  • Understanding of cloud platforms—preferably Azure—and how front-end apps consume cloud services.
  • Experience with Git and project management tools such as Azure DevOps, ClickUp, or Jira.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to simplify complex concepts.
  • A problem-solving mindset with a desire to learn and work with evolving AI technologies.
