Are you detail-oriented, analytical, and passionate about financial accuracy? Lesaka is looking for a Settlement Risk Reconciliation Investigator to join our Reconciliation team — a critical function that ensures every cent is accounted for and every transaction reconciled with precision.

As a Settlement Risk Reconciliation Investigator, you'll play a key role in validating cash movements, investigating discrepancies, and ensuring that client settlements are accurate and complete. This is more than a back-office role — it's a frontline position in risk mitigation and operational integrity.

What You'll Do:

  • Verify all bag transactions and ensure correct settlement flagging
  • Import and reconcile bank statements with actual movements
  • Allocate statement items to corresponding bags
  • Ensure payments and deposits are correctly linked to authorized settlements
  • Confirm that counted values match bag closures
  • Investigate and resolve exceptions and anomalies
  • Interact with internal and external customers to resolve queries
  • Conduct device decoding evaluations for deeper investigations
  • Visit Cash Centres and Client Sites to review video footage and complete investigations
  • Compile and submit Final Investigation Reports and Incident Reports

  • Matric required; Degree preferred
  • Valid driver's licence and reliable vehicle — ready to hit the road
  • Experience in reconciliation, investigations, or financial operations (advantageous)
