Murex Specialist – Financial Markets Systems Expert

Are you passionate about capital markets, complex financial products, and cutting-edge trading systems? We're looking for an experienced
Murex Specialist
to drive innovation and efficiency across trading, risk, and treasury functions.

In this role, you'll work across multiple business units — from Markets to Treasury — ensuring that front-to-back trade processes, risk reporting, and settlements run seamlessly. You'll play a key part in enhancing existing Murex functionality, building new capabilities, and partnering with traders and technical teams to deliver robust, scalable solutions.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Analyse current processes and identify opportunities for improvement and automation.
  • Collaborate with traders and stakeholders to document business requirements and pain points.
  • Conduct impact analyses and propose strategic, value-driven solutions.
  • Configure and develop solutions within the Murex platform to meet evolving business needs.
  • Support analytical queries (Risk, P&L, Pricing) and technical issues (Workflows, Integrations, Reporting).
  • Participate in testing cycles to ensure solution quality and compliance with requirements.
  • Liaise with the Murex vendor to resolve incidents and implement new functionality.
  • Deliver user training and develop supporting documentation.

What You'll Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in
    Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering
    , or a related field.
  • Minimum
    3 years' experience
    in implementing or supporting
    financial markets systems
    and integrations.
  • Strong working knowledge of:
  • Capital Markets products
    (Derivatives, Interest Rate, Money Market, Fixed Income).
  • Trade lifecycle management
    from pricing to settlement.
  • Murex modules
    , including Front Office configuration, sensitivities, risk, P&L analysis, and pricing templates.
  • Agile / Scrum methodologies
    .
  • A proactive problem solver who thrives on collaboration and continuous improvement.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and analytical skills.
  • ACI Dealing Certificate
    would be advantageous.
