Call Centre Associate

Van Schaik Online needs a Call Centre Associate who is goal/target driven and possesses a high level of telephone etiquette, communication skills, good interpersonal and administrative skills and can function well under pressure.
Reporting to the Supervisor, the successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Handling quotations for individual customers, institutions and libraries,
- Handling of Web-based, inbound/outbound telephonic, e-mail, fax and written enquiries
- Ordering and receiving of academic and general books
- Stock sourcing and supply chain management
- Executing and follow up on IBT with branches
- Assisting in dispatch with invoicing and capturing waybills
- General office administration
- Excellent customer service.
- Other ad hoc tasks, as and when needed within the environment
Requirements:
- Senior certificate
- Computer literate (MS Office suite) and
- Internet user experience (including SmartPhone apps)
- Good communication skills and proficient in English and any other official language.
- Previous experience working in the call centre will be to your advantage
The successful candidate can expect a competitive package dependent on experience and qualifications, including a medical aid and provident fund.
