Van Schaik Online needs a Call Centre Associate who is goal/target driven and possesses a high level of telephone etiquette, communication skills, good interpersonal and administrative skills and can function well under pressure.

Reporting to the Supervisor, the successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Handling quotations for individual customers, institutions and libraries,
  • Handling of Web-based, inbound/outbound telephonic, e-mail, fax and written enquiries
  • Ordering and receiving of academic and general books
  • Stock sourcing and supply chain management
  • Executing and follow up on IBT with branches
  • Assisting in dispatch with invoicing and capturing waybills
  • General office administration
  • Excellent customer service.
  • Other ad hoc tasks, as and when needed within the environment

Requirements:

  • Senior certificate
  • Computer literate (MS Office suite) and
  • Internet user experience (including SmartPhone apps)
  • Good communication skills and proficient in English and any other official language.
  • Previous experience working in the call centre will be to your advantage

The successful candidate can expect a competitive package dependent on experience and qualifications, including a medical aid and provident fund.
