Our client in the telecommunications sector is seeking a L1 /L2 Engineer on a contract duration of 6 months.

Essential Job Functions 
  • Problems/Issues/Defects Recording and Dissemination
  • Diagnostics of Problems/Issues/Defects
  • Ownership of Problems/Issues/Defects Ticket until Resolution
  • Problems/Issues/Defects Analysis
  • Follow-up and Resolve Problems/Issues/Defects within SLA
  • Workaround, Corrective Fixes, Removal of Data Errors
  • Application Maintenance
  • Provide necessary Application log to L3/SME & all required support to diagnose a reported problem
  • Regular Reporting on Open/In Progress/Resolved Tickets to Next Level Managers
  • Pro-Active Communications (internal and external)
  • Bill run execution and Support
  • Deployment Support
  • UAT and Post-Production testing support.
  • Flexibility to work in shifts.
Required Skill Set
  • Telecom BSS Knowledge, SQL, MongoDB Query Language, Cassandra DB, MYSQL, UNIX, Web Logic/Java Basics.
  • Good Analytical Skills
  • Knowledge on Shell scripting
  • Knowledge on Rancher and Docker is an advantage.
Experience Level / Years of Experience    
  • 0-4 yrs
  • Minimum Qualification / Education
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
  • Knowledge of Service offering
  • Knowledge of BSS operating procedures, CRM and Billing
  • Telecom Software
  • BSS solutions for billing and customer care domain
  • Must regularly communicate with Offshore/Onsite for Reporting Purposes and to Provide On-Time Resolution.
  • Ready to travel to customer sites.
