Key Responsibilities:

- Inspect and assess the condition of all upholstered furniture and fixtures On Board Cruise Ship

- Repair any damages or tears in upholstery using appropriate tools and materials

- Replace old or worn out upholstery with new materials

- Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and meets company standards

- Maintain inventory of materials and supplies needed for upholstery repairs

- Collaborate with other crew members and departments to ensure timely completion of repairs

- Uphold safety standards and procedures while working on board the ship

- Keep track of all work completed and maintain accurate records

- Provide recommendations for improvements to the upholstery department

Requirements:

- Minimum of 2 years experience as an Upholsterer

- Knowledge of different types of upholstery materials and their properties

- Ability to use and maintain upholstery tools and equipment

- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision

- Excellent time management and organizational skills

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Good communication and interpersonal skills

- Flexibility to work long hours and adapt to changing schedules

- Physically fit and able to lift heavy objects

- Knowledge of safety procedures and ability to work in a safe manner
