We are looking for a highly skilled
Debtors Controller
with strong financial experience, accuracy, integrity and the professional demeanour required to manage our full credit control and accounts receivable function.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the full Debtors / Accounts Receivable function.
  • Process invoices timeously and accurately, including import/export billing.
  • Perform credit control functions, including credit checks, setting limits, and customer account management.
  • Monitor age analysis and follow up on outstanding/overdue accounts.
  • Handle reconciliations, statements, credit notes and adjustments.
  • Perform domestic and international bank reconciliations.
  • Investigate billing discrepancies and resolve customer account queries.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, and financial procedures.
  • Collaborate closely with Sales, Operations and Finance teams to ensure accurate, streamlined financial processes.
  • Support continuous improvement of AR processes.

Minimum Requirements

  • 10–15 years'
    experience in Debtors Control or Accounts Receivable.
  • Strong understanding of
    credit control, reconciliations and financial accuracy
    .
  • Proficient in
    Xero, Sage, QuickBooks, and Excel
    .
  • Experience in logistics, transport, or
    import/export finance
    is highly advantageous.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work independently.
  • Professional, ethical, organised and self-managed.
  • Qualification in Accounting, Finance or similar is advantageous.
