Role Description

This is a contract role for a Draughtsman, located on-site in Johannesburg. The Draughtsman will be responsible for creating detailed technical drawings and plans for various projects. Day-to-day tasks include collaborating with designers to develop precise drawings, ensuring accuracy and compliance with project specifications, making adjustments based on feedback, and maintaining updated documentation. The Draughtsman will also assist in the development of design concepts by translating ideas into detailed plans.

Qualifications

  • Proficient in technical drawing and CAD software
  • Experience with architectural and design software
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with design teams
  • Knowledge of building codes and industry standards
  • Relevant qualifications in architecture, design, or related fields
  • Experience in hospitality and luxury residential design is a plus
  • Who works well in a team
