Their portfolio of recreational and corporate connectivity solutions serves the Student, Defence, Residential, Holiday Park and Enterprise sectors.
Purpose of role
In this role, you will be providing trusted advice and guidance to leaders and employees on topics across the entire employee lifecycle.
Using data and evidence-based research, you will determine, develop and deliver people related programmes that support our client's business objectives.
Duties and responsibilities
HR Operations & Compliance
- Manage and maintain HR systems, ensuring accuracy of employee data and secure record-keeping.
- Oversee payroll administration in collaboration with finance, ensuring compliance with UK tax, SSP, maternity, and statutory regulations.
- Ensure HR practices and policies are compliant with UK employment legislation, providing expert interpretation and guidance.
- Support operational HR processes across the full employee lifecycle, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
Employee Relations & Case Management
- Lead on complex employee relations cases (disciplinary, grievance, performance, absence), ensuring fair, compliant, and consistent outcomes.
- Provide trusted advisory support to managers, coaching them through ER issues and decision-making.
- Conduct investigations, prepare documentation, and ensure cases are handled empathetically and in line with legal requirements.
- Policy Development & Governance
- Develop, review, and update HR policies in response to legislative changes and organisational needs.
- Communicate and embed policy updates across the business, ensuring employee understanding and manager compliance.
- Provide expert interpretation of policies to managers and employees, acting as a key subject matter expert.
Performance, Engagement & Culture
- Lead the quarterly performance management cycle, ensuring consistency, quality conversations, and alignment with business goals.
- Drive employee engagement initiatives, using insights to enhance culture, retention, and performance.
- Support culture-building programmes and organisational development initiatives.
- Strategic HR & Business Partnering
- Partner with leadership teams to translate business goals into people strategies that drive performance and capability.
- Support organisational change and transformation initiatives, ensuring people impacts are managed effectively.
- Provide data-driven recommendations and strategic insights to inform decision-making.
- Identify organisational capability gaps and support long-term workforce planning (where applicable).
- Training, Development & Capability Building
- Design and facilitate training sessions, workshops, and development programs for employees and managers.
- Build manager capability in areas such as performance management, ER handling, coaching, and leadership behaviours.
- Create learning materials and provide mentorship to team members and internal stakeholders.
Analytics & Insights
- Use HR data, metrics, and advanced analytics to identify trends, risks, and opportunities across the workforce.
- Produce reports for senior leaders, turning insights into actionable recommendations.
- Support strategic planning through data-driven forecasting and analysis.
Stakeholder Management & Leadership
- Build strong partnerships with leaders, acting as a trusted advisor and influencing people-related decisions.
- Mentor team members and act as a point of escalation for complex HR queries.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to deliver HR initiatives and ensure alignment with broader organisational strategy.
Recruitment & Onboarding (where required)
- Support recruitment processes through job scoping, interviews, and decision-making.
- Ensure smooth onboarding and induction experiences for new hires.
