VACANCY: VICE PRINCIPAL (MANAGERIAL POSITION)

Start Date: 1 January 2026

Bizweni Primary School is seeking a dynamic, innovative, and dedicated individual to join our leadership team as Vice Principal. This is a senior managerial position suited to a candidate with strong organisational, technological, and interpersonal skills, and a passion for holistic child development.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Managing and overseeing the new Media Centre, including resource development, timetabling, and integration across grades.
  • Teaching and developing the Computer, Coding, and Robotics curriculum, ensuring alignment with CAPS and forward-thinking digital learning practices.
  • Supervising and managing the Aftercare Programme, including staff coordination and programme quality.
  • Providing oversight of the Pre-Primary School, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, regulatory compliance, and quality learning environments.
  • Assisting the Principal with leadership, staff support, administrative duties, and ongoing school improvement initiatives.

· Manage and grow the school's social media platforms by marketing both the Pre-Primary and Primary School and keeping all pages current with news, events, and activities.

Minimum Requirements

  • Relevant teaching qualification, experience in the classroom and SACE registration.
  • Prior experience in a leadership, coordination, or management role.
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal abilities.
  • A passion for innovation in education and collaborative school culture.
  • Experience working with social media profiles
  • Experience managing social media profiles with an understanding of audience engagement, content planning, and brand representation
