Cape Town.
This is a hybrid role.

Are you a technical expert who thrives at the intersection of software development, application support, and enterprise documentation?

We're seeking a skilled professional to manage, maintain, and enhance our crucial Document Management Systems (DMS) and document generation suite.

Responsibilities include:

  • Develop, design, and implement new system features, programs, interfaces, and execute technical Proof of Concepts.
  • Implement updates and releases of third-party packages, document operational procedures, and execute Disaster Recovery processes.
  • Provide expert Production Support (including standby duty) and manage complex problem resolution, liaising with infrastructure teams to ensure timely fixes.
  • Lead comprehensive testing efforts, including data conversion, performance, system, regression, and integration testing.
  • Contribute to task estimations, monitor progress of technical tasks, and conduct Impact Analysis Assessments.

What You'll Need To Succeed

  • A relevant IT degree/diploma or a minimum of 2 years of dedicated Document Management experience.
  • Proven ability in Solutions Development and Design with strong Database skills.
  • Experience in Application support for a document generation suite (or comparable software) and knowledge of current document management business processes.
  • Strong analytical & numerical ability and conceptual thinking to resolve problems efficiently.
  • Bonus Skill: MS .Net C# development experience.
