WE'RE HIRING: BARISTA / ALL-ROUNDER

Coffee Court – Brooklyn, Pretoria

Coffee Court Brooklyn is looking for a skilled Barista + Front-of-House All-Rounder to join our team and help keep the vibe flowing — on and off the coffee machine.

About the Role

This position is perfect for someone who loves coffee, people, and a fast-moving café environment.

You'll be making coffees, assisting customers, helping with basic food prep, and supporting the team where needed.

Key Responsibilities

Make & serve high-quality coffees (espresso, cappuccinos, lattes etc.)

Interact with customers & take orders confidently

Assist with basic food prep & plating during busy times

Maintain cleanliness of coffee station & front of house

Run orders, clear tables, upsell specials & assist the kitchen if needed

Handle POS and cash-up (if on shift)

Represent the Coffee Court brand with good energy & service

Requirements

  • Previous barista or café experience (minimum 1 year preferred)
  • Able to steam milk, pull consistent shots & work clean
  • Friendly, reliable, and great with customers
  • Willing to help where needed — not "just a barista"
  • Must be available on weekends (padel events, tournaments, rush hours)
  • Bonus: Latte art, food service experience, padel enthusiasm
