The Reporting & Insights Analyst (Power BI) will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimising dashboards, reports, and data models to support business decision-making across the company. This role will transform raw data into meaningful insights that help management improve performance, strengthen operations, and support strategic growth. 

As a fast-growing retail management company, we require a hands-on individual who can build reporting systems from the ground up and introduce best practices for data management and visualisation. 

Power BI Development & Reporting

  • Build, maintain, and enhance Power BI dashboards and reports for various business units.
  • Develop data models, measures, and visualisations using Power BI, DAX, and Power Query.
  • Automate reporting processes and ensure reports are delivered accurately and on time.
  • Maintain version control and documentation of all dashboards and data sources.

Data Management & Analysis

  • Collect, clean, and validate data from multiple systems including HR, operations, sales, and finance.
  • Identify data gaps, inconsistencies, and opportunities for data quality improvement.
  • Analyse trends, performance metrics, KPIs, and business indicators.

Business Insights & Support

  • Provide analytical support to management to guide decision-making.
  • Present findings clearly and professionally to stakeholders.
  • Work with different teams (HR, Operations, Finance, Field Management) to understand reporting needs.
  • Recommend improvements to processes, operational efficiency, and performance management based on insights.

System & Process Development

  • Assist in building a centralised reporting system for the company as it scales.
  • Support the implementation of new data tools, integrations, or automation solutions.
  • Develop standardised templates and reporting frameworks.

Qualification:

Diploma or degree in Data Analytics, Information Systems, Business Intelligence, or related field (preferred but not mandatory). 

Preferred work Experience:

  • 1–3 years of experience in a reporting or data analysis role.
  • Power BI portfolio or examples of dashboards advantageous.
  • Experience in the retail industry is a plus
  • Experience working with multiple data sources and systems.
  • Strong proficiency in
    Power BI

(DAX, Power Query, data modelling).
- Experience with
Excel

(advanced).
- Knowledge of
SQL

is an advantage but not essential.
- Understanding of data visualisation best practices.
