Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Chartered Accountant located in Johannesburg. The Chartered Accountant will be responsible for maintaining financial records, preparing financial statements, conducting audits, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, managing budgets, and providing strategic financial advice to the management team.

Qualifications

  • Chartered Accountant qualification is essential with completed articles from SAICA
  • Extensive experience in financial record keeping, financial statement preparation, and audits
  • Knowledge of accounting standards and regulatory compliance
  • Strong skills in budget management
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
  • Proficiency in accounting software and tools
  • Excellent excel skills
  • Excellent reporting skills
  • Experience in the manufacturing or engineering industry is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
