Prominent Real estate agency looking to expand their rental portfolio seeking accounts person with advance PayProp capabilities and min of 5 years experience in the property rental space (Residential only) to be responsible for all rental financial duties.
Candidates to reside on the East Rand.

Key responsibilities typically include:

  • Processing Invoices and Payments:
    Managing both accounts payable (e.g., paying vendors and suppliers for maintenance or utilities) and accounts receivable (processing incoming rent payments from tenants).
  • Reconciliation:
    Performing daily and monthly bank reconciliations and reconciling vendor/supplier statements to the general ledger, investigating and resolving any discrepancies.
  • Data Entry and Record Keeping:
    Accurately inputting financial data into the PayProp accounting system and maintaining organized electronic and physical financial records and documentation.
  • Generating Reports:
    Assisting in the preparation of various financial reports, such as monthly statements, income statements, and balance sheets, for management and property owners.
  • Customer and Vendor Communication:
    Acting as a point of contact for internal staff, tenants, and external vendors regarding billing, invoice, and payment inquiries.
  • Assisting with Audits and Month-End Close:
    Supporting the month-end closing procedures and assisting with internal and external audit requests by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
  • General Administrative Support:
    Performing general office duties, such as handling mail, scanning documents, and maintaining office supplies, as required.
