Job Overview
We are seeking a proactive and personable Client Relationship Manager (CRM) to join our team. In this role, you will be the primary point of contact for our clients, ensuring their accounting and tax advisory needs are met with excellence. You will build and nurture strong relationships, understand client objectives, and collaborate with our accounting and advisory teams to deliver tailored financial solutions.
Your expertise in financial services, paired with outstanding communication and problem-solving skills, will drive client satisfaction and retention. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a people-focused role within the accounting and finance sector.
The clients are in the UK so it's remote but local candidates, should they be successful, will be expected to work hybrid (3 days in office, 2 days from home). Out-of-town applications will be considered as well.
Salary band – R40kctc – R45kctc per month.
Key Responsibilities
• Client Management: Serve as the dedicated relationship manager for a portfolio
of clients, ensuring their needs are consistently met.
• Advisory Support: Collaborate with accounting and tax teams to deliver
strategic financial advice tailored to client goals.
• Issue Resolution: Act as a problem solver, addressing client queries, concerns,
and service issues promptly and effectively.
• Account Growth: Identify opportunities to expand service offerings, upsell
additional services, and contribute to business growth.
• Client Onboarding: Oversee the smooth onboarding of new clients, ensuring a
seamless experience.
• Regular Check-Ins: Conduct regular client reviews to gather feedback, monitor
satisfaction, and ensure alignment with service expectations.
• Market Insights: Stay informed about industry trends, tax regulations, and
market changes to offer proactive advice to clients.
• Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams to ensure clients receive
holistic and timely financial support.
Qualifications
- BCOM Accounts + honours
- Articles completed
- AGA (SA)
- 5 years+ experience in Accounts, client facing
- UK Gaap highly beneficial
Preferred experience
• Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in client relationship management
within accounting, financial services, or a similar industry.
• Industry Expertise: Experience working with clients in the childcare, care home,
content creator, tech, or construction sectors is advantageous.
• AI Experience: Familiarity with AI or generative AI tools in financial services,
including their applications in accounting or client management.
• Tech Proficiency: Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks)
and CRM tools.
