Responsibilities
What we're looking for:
Develop the portfolio strategy and drive the execution of the strategy end to end including: Innovation, consumer centric communication and activations, brand positioning, brand performance, agency relationship management, digital strategy and execution.
The ideal candidate must be able to manage more than one brand and be able to guide and develop the brand manager, be resilient, a self-starter, agile and results driven.
- Lead portfolio growth strategy to dock into overarching Convenience Food strategy and priorities, ensuring consumer remains at the heart of all decisions
- Execution of Marketing activity, partnering with Agencies, Shopper, Customer to bring to life
- Project Management of innovation / renovation projects with Commz & NPD to execute innovation pipeline and support development of future innovation funnel
- Execute marketing activity to meet AOP targets on vol, NR
- Portfolio monitoring to understand gaps and work with cross functional teams to resolve
- Partner with Agencies (ATL, Shopper, Digital, etc) to deliver effective campaigns
- Manage and develop team. Lead implementation of Pepsi best practices (e.g. TCP)
- Ongoing tracking of brand health via shares, volumes, net revenue, equity measures etc
- Partner with Insights and Analytics to identify research gaps and to develop best solution
- A&M daily management and reporting as needed
Qualifications
What will qualify you for the role
:
- 5 - 7 Years working experience
- Qualification: 3 (Three) year Marketing Degree from a tertiary institution
- Key Skills & Experience:
- Commercial understanding and ownership: Income statement to GP and bottom line + Budget management and reconciliation.
- Financial acumen for reporting and tracking financial and share performance and forecasting.
- Multi-disciplinary team and project leadership. Full value chain understanding and management.
- Regulatory/compliance on products and consumers (CGSA, DOH etc).
- Consumer behaviour and Shopper behaviour understanding.
- Research and analytics understanding and tracking; Customer and trade understanding, shopper and category growth strategies and customer/sales interactions.
Project management:
Innovation development and cross functional teams management
- Communication development and execution with agency partners
Cross portfolio project management (example: shared projects across beverages) requiring cross team management
Ability to work independently and in teams
- To effectively engage senior management to gain alignment/approval on projects/tasks
- Ability to build strong relationships, particularly with sales and other customers to deliver specific activity.
- Detail orientated and ability to navigate systems, procedures and practices.
- Needs to bring insight to data and problem solving ability.
