We have a requirement for a
Senior
Business Analyst
within our Finance Systems Technology team.

What we're looking for in our new BA?

  • Relevant IT or Business Degree/ Diploma, CA (SA) or similar beneficial
  • 7-10 years' experience as Business Analyst or relevant business experience in finance processes.
  • Familiarity with processes driven by Robotic Process Automation tools
  • Demonstrated experience of assessing the costs and benefits of potential changes to business processes
  • Knowledge of the Retail sector and broad understanding of traditional and new technologies used in a retail and online environments is desirable
  • The type of person who will ask the right questions and probe where needed.
  • Self managed
  • Able to generate enthusiasm amongst team members whilst innovating change
  • Ability to understand, define and document business requirements in a clear manner that is relevant to current or proposed solutions
  • Inquisitive and progressive mind set leading to the generation of new and different ideas
  • Ability to deal with stressful situations logically and calmly and see them through to a solution

  • Lead and mentor a team of Business Analysts on high-impact strategic projects.
  • Drive efficiencies and continuous improvement in Business Analysis practices.
  • Provide expert guidance and support in solving complex business problems.
  • Evaluate the current business environment to identify strengths, gaps, and opportunities.
  • Define the desired future state and create a roadmap to achieve it.
  • Assess potential risks and develop robust change strategies to ensure successful transformation.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends and emerging practices, providing timely recommendations to the team.
  • Establish and refine the Business Analysis approach, including governance frameworks, performance improvements, and information management standards.
  • Apply lessons learned from previous reviews to strengthen future practices.
  • Conduct stakeholder analysis and design effective engagement strategies that secure commitment and facilitate adoption of change initiatives.
