Business / Systems Analyst

Location: Stellenbosch, Cape Town

Contract: 12-Month Contract (with potential to go permanent)

Work Model: Full-time, Onsite

A leading technology-driven organisation is seeking a Senior Business / Systems Analyst to join their Stellenbosch team. This is a highly collaborative role suited to a senior professional who can contribute meaningfully to business strategy and direction, not just take requirements.

The ideal candidate will have a financial services background (credit, lending, banking, or insurance) and a solid grasp of technical concepts such as integrations, database design, and service-oriented architecture. You should be comfortable working with tools like Swagger and Postman, and have a good understanding of data modelling, master data, and report design principles.

Requirements

Key Requirements:

  • 5+ years' experience as a Business or Systems Analyst
  • Strong understanding of integration and API concepts
  • Experience creating Functional and Business Requirement Specifications (UML preferred)
  • Skilled in test case design and UAT documentation
  • Familiar with Agile and Waterfall methodologies (BABOK certification advantageous)
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and collaboration skills
