We are proud to be working with a fast-growing iGaming and Sportsbook operator headquartered in Cape Town. Focused on delivering a world-class betting experience, this company combines cutting-edge technology, seamless user experience, and professional customer service.

They are now seeking a 
Head of Marketing
 to drive the brand's expansion across Africa. This role will be central to shaping and executing the marketing strategy, strengthening brand positioning, and leading a talented team of 6 to deliver measurable growth.

The ideal candidate must bring proven expertise in Digital Marketing, with experience in performance-driven campaigns, paid media, SEO, and customer acquisition strategies. Strong data-driven decision-making skills are essential.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Design and deliver an integrated marketing strategy aligned with commercial goals.
  • Oversee digital and offline campaigns, including paid media, SEO, social, and content.
  • Lead customer acquisition and retention initiatives, ensuring strong lifecycle management.
  • Manage brand positioning, partnerships, sponsorships, and events to boost visibility.
  • Analyse and Optimize the CX/UX based on data and feedback insights
  • Track performance against KPIs, optimize marketing ROI, and report insights to leadership.
  • Ensure compliance with gaming regulations and maintain strong governance standards.
  • Collaborate closely with Product, Trading and Operations teams to ensure marketing strategies align with product roadmaps and player needs.
  • Lead, mentor, and grow the marketing team while fostering cross-department collaboration.

Desired Experience & Qualification

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field.
  • 5+ years' senior marketing experience, ideally in iGaming, sports betting, or e-commerce.
  • Advanced knowledge in Digital Marketing is crucial
  • Proven track record in digital marketing, growth strategies, and team leadership.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Knowledge of gaming regulations, compliance, and affiliate marketing.
  • Knowledge in the applicable gaming regulations, POPIA, FIC and compliance requirements
  • Passion for sports and iGaming.
