The
Structure Technician
is responsible for performing maintenance, repair, and modification of aircraft structural components in accordance with approved maintenance data, safety standards, and regulatory requirements. This role involves working with sheet metal, composites, and other structural materials to ensure the airworthiness and structural integrity of the aircraft.

In this role, you will be:

  • Perform structural repairs, replacements, and modifications on aircraft fuselage, wings, flight controls, and other structural assemblies.
  • Inspect and assess aircraft structures for damage, corrosion, fatigue, and wear.
  • Interpret and follow engineering drawings, technical manuals, and Structural Repair Manuals (SRMs).
  • Fabricate, fit, and install structural parts using sheet metal and composite materials.
  • Operate tools and equipment such as riveters, drills, shears, brakes, and grinders safely and efficiently.
  • Document all maintenance actions accurately in compliance with regulatory and company requirements.
  • Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with approved maintenance procedures and safety regulations.
  • Collaborate with engineers, inspectors, and other technicians to complete work within set timelines.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
  • Report discrepancies and potential safety issues to supervisory staff promptly.

To be considered for the role you must meet the below requirements:

  • 5+ Years in Engineering
  • Graduate (12+2)
  • Apprenticeship in Aircraft Maintenance or equivalent training with a reputable airline or an approved aircraft maintenance organisation or Engineering Aircraft Maintenance License
