Role Overview
We are looking for a technically curious graduate to join our engineering and product team. This role is ideal for someone who wants hands-on exposure to real-time financial systems, APIs, and modern software development.
You will work closely with our Head of Tech Development and the engineering team across development, testing, tooling, system operations, and research. You'll gain end-to-end visibility of how institutional-grade infrastructure is designed, built, and maintained.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the engineering team with development tasks and system maintenance.
- Assist with API testing, workflow testing, and validation of new product features.
- Contribute to technical documentation such as diagrams, processes, and user guides.
- Research protocols, architectures, and technologies relevant to FXCH's platform.
- Review logs, alerts, and data patterns to help monitor system behaviour.
- Participate in sprint planning, reviews, and internal knowledge-sharing sessions.
- Shadow developers to learn system design and integration workflows.
- Build small scripts or internal tools that support product and operations teams.
Ideal Candidate
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
- Familiarity with at least one programming language, such as Python or JavaScript.
- Interest in systems design, APIs, trading technology, or crypto infrastructure.
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn complex technical concepts.
- Analytical thinker who approaches problems in a structured, methodical way.
- Clear communicator with strong collaboration skills.
- Genuine curiosity about fintech and emerging technology.
