We're looking for dynamic, passionate, and ambitious graduates just like you

Our Grad Programme is well known in the Cape Town tech industry and for good reason This programme will be your first taste of the 'real world'. Your first job. Your first salary. Your first Monday – Friday. And even if it isn't, this will likely be your first gig where you are (almost straight off the bat) included in a billable team and doing billable work with real-time clients – we like to call it: learning on the go and swimming in the deep end, all rolled into one.

Spoiler alert None of this is going to be handed to you on a silver platter.Elbow grease is required but as with most things in life, if you put in the effort, you will reap the rewards.Job requirements So, you want to become a part of the Open Box team... great

If we potentially see a good fit for you at Open Box, we'll send you a questionnaire to fill out, request further academic records, and set up a first-round interview. Either way, we'll get back to you to confirm where we're at... we never leave people in the dark

Minimum requirements:

  • IT related 3-to-4-year degree or diploma (preferably in Information Systems or Computer Science).

  • Completing studies in 2025. 

Some important things to consider in your application:

  • We want to know about who you are and why you'd make a great Open Boxer Write a brief note on why you think you will be a good fit for Open Box.

  • Be friendly. Remember that first impressions are important

  • Be professional. We assume that you would treat us the same way you would treat our clients.

  • Pay attention to detail and take the time to get it right. An application full of spelling mistakes, bad grammar, and inconsistent formatting speaks volumes about your personal standards.

  • Be sure to include your transcripts. Unsurprisingly, we find that a solid academic record points towards strong ability and discipline.

  • Aside from your tertiary qualifications, good matric marks for Mathematics and English are also important to us. Logical thinking and communication skills are critical for all our positions.
