A renowned fine dining restaurant in Stellenbosch is looking for an experienced Sushi Chef to join its culinary team. The successful candidate will work closely with the Head Chef to craft exceptional sushi dishes and Japanese-inspired cuisine, maintaining the highest standards of quality, presentation, and consistency.

Requirements:
  • Matric with a Culinary Diploma or equivalent qualification preferred.
  • Minimum of 4 years' experience as a Sushi Chef or in a similar senior role.
  • Proven experience in Japanese cuisine and sushi preparation techniques.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining precision and artistry.
  • Basic computer literacy (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Must have own reliable transport and valid driver's license.
  • Willingness to work flexible hospitality hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
