Minimum Requirements

Qualifications & Experience:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience as a content creator/copywriter, preferably in a professional service firm.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Excellent written communication and editing skills.
  • A strong command of the English language in respect of grammar, style, and tone.
  • Familiarity with SEO principles and best practices for content creation.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Excellent organising and prioritising skills.
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Develop compelling, original written content that aligns with brand guidelines, tone of voice, and marketing objectives. This includes creating copy for the website, brochures, service descriptions, profiles (company and individual), accolade, directory and chapter submissions, and other related materials.
  • Create external content such as articles, blog posts, e-books, podcasts, infographics, and webinars to inform and engage our target audience.
  • Create internal content including internal documents, notifications, and announcements to keep the teams informed and aligned.
  • Collaborate with internal subject matter experts and stakeholders to gather information and insights for content creation.
  • Develop and manage projects to create content, including article schedules for lawyers and content calendars.
  • Edit and proofread content for accuracy, grammar, style, and tone.
  • Ensure consistency of brand messaging and tone of voice across all marketing content.
  • Work closely within the marketing team to maintain brand guidelines and contribute to brand development initiatives.
  • Develop a deep understanding of our target audience, their pain points, and motivations, and incorporate them into content creation.
