Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic intern to join our FPM
Employee Benefits
team. This opportunity is ideal for a recent university graduate eager to embark on a career in the financial services sector, with a focus on medical aid and pension/provident fund administration. The successful candidate will gain hands-on experience, develop industry-specific skills, and have the opportunity to grow within our business.

Key Responsibilities

·       Assist with the administration of medical aid and pension/provident fund portfolios.

·       Support consultants and administrators in daily client service activities.

·       Gather, review, and process documentation from clients and service providers.

·       Participate in client meetings, training sessions, and workshops to enhance industry knowledge.

·       Help maintain accurate and comprehensive records in line with company procedures.

·       Conduct basic research on industry trends and legislative changes affecting employee benefits.

·       Assist with general office and communication tasks as required.

Minimum Requirements

·       Recently completed NQF Level 6 qualification in Financial Planning or a related field.

·       Strong computer literacy, including proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

·       Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

·       Demonstrated willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic environment.

·       Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.

·       Professional demeanour and ability to work collaboratively within a team.
