Seeking a seasoned finance professional to support its year-end financial processes and audit preparation. This is a senior-level, in-office role based in Cape Town, is offering an opportunity to contribute meaningfully to public sector financial operations.

This senior finance role is ideal for a strategic thinker with deep experience in financial leadership within the agricultural sector. The position involves overseeing the financial year-end process, ensuring accurate reporting, and supporting audit readiness. The successful candidate will bring a strong understanding of operational finance, financial systems, and compliance, with the ability to navigate complex transactions and lead engagements with precision. Experience in agricultural finance environments, particularly those involving production cycles, inventory management, and cost analysis, will be highly beneficial.
 
Skills & Experience:
Proven senior-level experience in financial leadership, preferably within the agricultural or production-based sectors, SOE and public sector finance.
Strong understanding of financial reporting cycles, including year-end processes and audit preparation
Hands-on experience with financial systems such as Sage Intacct and familiarity with Draftworx
Ability to manage complex transactions and ensure compliance with internal and external reporting standards
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to financial oversight and operational support

Qualification:
Degree in Finance – CA(SA)
Minimum 5-10 years' experience
